William R. Markley

William Roger Markley, age 82, of Springfield, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 23, 2021. He was born on September 9, 1939, in Springfield, Ohio, the son of the late William and Mildred Markley. Bill is survived by his loving daughter, Debbie (Gene) Price; and granddaughter, Kaylee Price. He was reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife, Mary Lou (Null) Markley who passed away on October 30, 2019. William and his wife previously attended Northridge United Methodist Church and were members of the First Church of the Nazarene. He was a quiet man with a strong faith and he loved his church family. Bill was a mechanical engineer and worked at numerous places throughout his life. He was also a talented craftsman who enjoyed woodworking. A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 1p.m with viewing one hour prior at the First Church of the Nazarene, 901 E. Home Rd. with Pastor Keith Sarver officiating.
