Virgil "Pete" Marion Foulke

Virgil “Pete” Marion Foulke, Jr. age 91 of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at his residence while surrounded by his loving family. He was born the son of Virgil Sr. and Clara Foulke on May 8, 1931, in Springfield, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Foulke; great-granddaughter, Hailey Jenkins; and sisters, Tootie and Lou. He is survived by his son, Virgil Foulke of Springfield; daughters, Norma (Robert) Justice of Dayton and Mary Jenkins (Tyler Lynch) of Springfield; sisters, Ada, Barbara and Marion; grandchildren, Patricia, Michael (Candace), Branden (Hannah) and Jordan; 16 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many friends. Pete was a loving father, grandfather and friend. He will be missed by all of those who loved him. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, tinkering for metal and sitting by the fire while enjoying a cigar. Pete took pride in his lawn and was known to grow large tomatoes in his garden. Friends may call on Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 11a.m.-12p.m. at Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center with service beginning at 12p.m. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
