Victoria Kirkland

KIRKLAND, Victoria, 90 of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born on October 10, 1931 to the late Rudolph and Matilda (Stebner) Fischer in Munich, Germany. In addition to her parents, Victoria is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 36 years, Mark Kirkland. She leaves behind her sons: Rudy Kirkland, Marty (Tammy) Kirkland, Mike Kirkland, and Paul (Becky) Kirkland; her daughter, Vicki Kirkland; sister, Betty Berger; eleven grandchildren as well as numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Victoria and her late husband, Mark met at Shaffer's Bakery where they both worked; both went to work at Young's Jersey Dairy and finally retired from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was devoted to her faith and a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Victoria also enjoyed different crafting hobbies including: crocheting, knitting, and embroidery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 10:00 a.m. until her funeral beginning at 12:00 p.m. Victoria will be laid to rest next to her husband, Mark at Rose Hill Burial Park.
