Trevor Lee Truitt, age 40, of Springfield, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Friday, June 11, 2021. He was born on October 31, 1980, in Springfield, the son of Butch and Susan (Harlow) Truitt. In addition to his parents, Trevor is survived by his beloved daughters, Tristah and Mackenzie Truitt; brother, Chip (Tamatha) Truitt; grandmother, Sue Harlow; aunts Sue (Truitt) Allen and Janice Harlow; uncles Dennis Harlow and Scott (Mike Pelfrey) Harlow and special friends amongst many others, Elijah Williams, Brady Glass, Nick Lambaucher, Jake Baldwin, and Ryan Scholl. Trevor graduated from Kenton Ridge High School in 1999. He enjoyed baseball, was an avid Michigan and Seattle Seahawks fan and loved music, especially Eminem. Trevor was employed throughout the years by Amazon, DoorDash, Verizon, The Dock and Assurant. Trevor adored his family and was a wonderful father. His girls were always first in his life and he cherished the memories created with them. He was a loyal friend to many and his contagious smile will be forever remembered. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 5-7p.m. at Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center. Funeral service will begin at 7 with Joel Augustus officiating.
