Taylor Elizabeth Haffner, born in Springfield, Ohio on April 4, 2006, passed away unexpectedly on April 21, 2023. She is survived by her mother, Jamie Haffner; sisters, Jaylin Haffner, Hailey Watts, Brooklyn Wood and Addyson Watts; grandparents, Robert Haffner and Carol Haffner; uncle, Rob Haffner; cousins, Michael and Alayna Haffner, Ciara and LJ King; best friends, Aleeseah Trimmer, Laney Gabbert and Carmine Ater; her lifelong stand in father, Heidi Peters; her chosen second family, Heather and Brad Trimmer; and numerous other aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her aunt Angie King. Taylor passed away unexpectedly with her good friend Osman Diaz.
Taylor was an avid lover of sports, currently playing on the Shawnee softball team and was an English professor for her oldest sister. She had a huge heart for animals, especially her fur buddy Bexley and Worms. Her favorite food was chickie nuggies and milk. Taylor was known for her very quirky personality with that long beautiful hair and courageous smile. She has such an army behind her and will live forever in all our hearts.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 1:00p.m.-3:00p.m. at First Christian Church, 3638 Middle Urbana Rd. Springfield, A service to honor her life will begin at 3:00 p.m.
Taylor’s family would like to thank everyone for their outpouring of love, compassion and prayers during this difficult time.
