Tamara Sue Wells

WELLS, Tamara Sue (Hale) age 63 of Springfield was reunited in Heaven with her husband, Hargus on Wednesday, July 16, 2024. She was born on December 12, 1960 to the late William and Arnetta (Beckett) Hale in Springfield, Ohio. In addition to her parents and beloved husband of 34 years, Hargus Wells Sr., Tamara was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Gunter and her daughter-in-law Roseann Wells. She leaves behind her children: Daisy (Jack Cox) Springer, Hargus (Janice Hartman) Wells Jr., William (Elizabeth "Lizzie") Wells and Ashley (Justin Perdue) Hagans; grandchildren: Anna Springer, Violette Cox, Hunter Cox, and Shane Myles; great-grandchildren: Addison and Amir and numerous nieces and nephews. Tamara was blessed with a huge heart and became an "adopted" mother to Heather Gross; she had an "a$$hole son" Joel (Janeen) Mills; a nephew, William Johnson and Timothy Everhart held a special place in her heart. Tamara was employed by H&R Block and K W Hess Ohio Pythian Home and enjoyed being a member of the AmVets Post 25 and VFW 8673. She was known for her spicy personality, loved all types of music and always tried her luck at gambling. Tamara will be greatly missed by all those that knew her. A visitation will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center. Her funeral will be officiated by Pastor Kevin Moehn beginning at 12:00 p.m. and she will be laid to rest at Vale Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed to the family by visiting www.jacksonlytle.com
