Shirley Ann Ballentine

Shirley Ann Ballentine, age 83, passed away on September 29, 2021 in Springfield, Ohio. She was born on November 12, 1937 in Troy, Ohio to the late Daniel and Eva (Metzger) Barnhart. Along with her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Ballentine, loving companion, Donald Mathews, sons; David and Doug Dooley, brother, Willis (Bud) Barnhart, and sisters; Elizabeth McGlothin and Norma Roop. Shirley is survived by her daughters; Carol Statler and Patricia Agheli, sisters; Donna Lang, Jeannie Trueblood, and Lois Spahr, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 11:00-1:00 PM at the Jackson Lytle and Lewis Life Celebration Center, Springfield. The service will begin at 1:00 PM. Shirley will be laid to rest at Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Harmony Missionary Baptist Church in Shirley's honor.
