Sarah Elizabeth Deel

It is with deepest sorrow that we share the unexpected loss of our beloved daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Deel (Allen), age 31, who passed away on November 29, 2024. She was born in Springfield, Ohio in 1993 to Scott and Carol Allen. Sarah graduated from Kenton Ridge High School and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. She started her career at Clark County Family and Children’s Services and most recently, at the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center. 

As undeniably beautiful as she was on the outside, she was more so on the inside. Extremely loving, caring, and loyal, especially to those she cared about. Most importantly to her two daughters, her greatest pride and joy, Reagan and Cleo. She was a fiercely loving and protective “mama bear”. Sarah was also one to not take herself too seriously and could be the goofiest, most gregarious and infectious person in the room. 

In addition to her parents, Sarah leaves behind many family and friends to cherish her memory. Daughters, Reagan and Cleo, brother, Michael (Jeanna), maternal grandmother, Marilyn, partner, Jake Moore (father of Cleo) and his daughter, Peyton, and Reagan’s father, Justin Deel.

Other survivors include uncles, Mark (Jenny) Lookabaugh, Steve (Angie) Lookabaugh, Jim Lookabaugh, Tom (Rita) Lookabaugh, Ryan Croak. Also, great aunts, Joyce Lesch, Margaret (Charles) DeButy, and very “special aunt”, Sharon Murphy. Life long friend, Abbie Runyan and many other friends, numerous cousins, and extended family. 

At the family’s request, a private service will be held. In lieu of flowers, the “Sarah Elizabeth Deel Memorial Fund” has been set up at PNC Bank to directly benefit Sarah’s daughters Reagan and Cleo for any future needs.Arrangements entrusted to the Jackson Lytle and Lewis Life Celebration Center, Springfield.
