Rudolph Ramirez

RAMIREZ, Rudolph of Springfield, Ohio, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2019. He was born on August 15, 1920 to the late Juan and Maria (Castillanos) Ramirez in Butler, California. In addition to his parents, Rudy is preceded in death by most of his thirteen siblings. He is survived by his sons: Rudy, Gary, Merek, Russ and step-son, Jim DeWine; grandchildren: Ethan, Malia, Nicolas, Kellie and Stephanie; great-grandchildren: of Stephanie and Ruben Rosso: Charlee Rose; of Ethan and Wendy Ramirez: Shanti, Cienna, and Kainoa; great-great-grandchild: of Nicolas and Wendy Remirez: Malia Pasicznck. Rudy was a wonderful father and beloved husband, a friend to all and a World War II Army Veteran serving the South Pacific Arena and awarded five Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial contributions be made to Sarah Elizabeth Linardos Memorial Scholarship Fund through springfieldfoundation.org to honor her life long love of education and to give other kids the same opportunities that Sarah had. Sarah had passed away in the night from SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy).
