Ronald 'Pappy' Lockwood

LOCKWOOD, Ronald ‘Pappy’, age 76, passed away on January 8, 2021 in Springfield, OH. He was born on July 2, 1944 in Bellefontaine, OH to the late Charles (Betty) Lockwood and Reba Lockwood. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Lockwood. He is survived by his son, Aaron (Ashli) Lockwood, daughters; Cheri (Kevin) Foley and Denise Lockwood-Darden, sisters; Patty Dibert and Carol (Keith) Rogers, sister-in-law, Linda Lockwood, grandchildren; Kevin, Kyleigh (Nathan), Daunté, Malik, Treyson, Ashlen, Alyssa, Alex, and Alaina, great-grandchildren; Prestyn and Kailoni, and several nieces and nephews. Ron worked at Navistar, where he later retired from. In his free time, he enjoyed traveling and attending his grandkids sporting events. He was their number one fan.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, January 15, 2021 from 3:00-5:00 PM at Jackson Lytle and Lewis Life Celebration Center. A memorial service will follow at 5:00 PM, officiated by Chaplain David Garrett. The service will be live-streamed on our Facebook page, Jackson Lytle and Lewis Life Celebration Center, starting promptly at 5:00 PM.
