Robert E. Olwin Sr.

OLWIN, Robert E. "Bob" Sr., age 91 of Springfield, Ohio passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Forest Glen Health Campus. He was born on February 15, 1930 to the late Miles Joseph and Helen (Bolinger) Olwin in Dayton, Ohio. In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Cheryl A. Olwin; sons, Steven Keeton and Jerry Lee as well as his brother, Donald Olwin. He leaves behind his children: Dennis E. Olwin, Thomas L. (Cathy) Olwin, Gay L. (Rick) Keeton, Michael W. (Ruth) Emerich, Beth A. Diell, Robert E. (Cheryl) Olwin Jr., and Myla Jo (Robert) Repik. Bob is also survived by numerous beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; also a special cousin, Jeanie Trace. Bob retired from Chrysler Air Temp after 30 dedicated years. He enjoyed square dancing with his late wife, a good game of euchre and was a sports fanatic. Bob will be sadly missed by all who knew him. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center from 10:00 a.m. until his service begins at 12:00 noon. He will be laid to rest following the service at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the International Rett Syndrome Foundation in Bob's honor.
