Robert A. Carney

CARNEY, Robert A. age 93 of Springfield passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 12, 2020 at Forest Glen Health Campus. He was born in Springfield, Ohio to the late John C. and Emma J. (Kleopper) Carney on July 31, 1926. In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara (Vogel) Carney and siblings, Buddy and Bertha. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, children: Lisa (Steve) Anderson, Mike (Theresa) Carney, Chris (Kecia) Carney and Colleen (Tim) Dooley and grandchildren: Connor (Kaylee) Carney, Kacie (Ethan Anderson) Carney, Rachel Dooley, David Dooley, Elizabeth Anderson, Philip Anderson, and Meagan Carney. Robert served his country in the United States Navy and went on to be a Certified Public Accountant for over forty years for Dresser Air Tool Corporation. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Knights of Columbus. Robert enjoyed listening to music, attending the theater and doing crossword puzzles.
