Richard B. Buehl

Richard “Rick” B. Buehl, 55, of Springfield, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 26, 2024, following a brief illness. He was born on June 8, 1969, the son of the late Leslie G. Buehl (Slye) and John K. Buehl.

Rick graduated in 1987 from Kenton Ridge High School. He did many different things in his life, but his true passion was racing. He could not stay away from the racetrack. Whether it was racing himself, helping others within the racing community, or just watching with friends and family. The speed, the sound, and the smell filled his heart.

Rick is survived by his son, Justin Lisch (Lindsey), grandsons, Jerick and Griffin Lisch, his loving partner, Kelly Stickney (Russell), her son, Eric Stickney, his sister, Bonnie Eaton (Buehl) and his three beloved dogs, River, Brutus, and Harley.

No services will be held for Rick at this time. A gathering of friends and family will be held at a later date.
