Pauline Griffith

GRIFFITH, Pauline age 85 of Springfield, Ohio passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Villa Springfield. She was born on August 22, 1938 to the late Wilburt and Vadie (Fairchild) Daniels in Paintsville, Kentucky. In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Dewey Griffith; grandson, Jason (Sarah) Sparrow; sister, Verlia Mae VanHoose and brothers, Harry and Horace Sloan. She leaves behind her two daughters, Vickie L. Shaffer and Deborah S. Sparrow; grandchildren: Shaun Shaffer, Aaron Voland (Stephanie Boyer), and Jeremy Stumbo; 9 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Grethel Preston; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pauline was a homemaker and enjoyed the precious moments taking care of her husband and children. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life and cherished time with them. She enjoyed sewing in her younger years, collecting Lee Middleton dolls and spending time with her adorable cats. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center from 6:00-8:00 p.m. with her funeral following on Thursday, August 15 at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Kevin Moehn officiating.
