Patsy D. Denman

DENMAN, Patsy D., age 76, of Springfield, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Thursday, August 6, 2020. She was born to the late Charles and Wallicia (Edmonds) Marable on September 15, 1943 in Kenbridge, Virginia.

Patsy is preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, William, who passed away January 3, 2016. She is survived by her daughter, Krystal Denman; grandson, Kevin (Allison Irvin) Darling; and uncle, Robert Edmunds.

She was a member of the Bass Smith Connection, located in Springfield, a non-profit organization designed to provide scholarships for minority students. Patsy was also a member of the St. John Missionary Baptist Church for many years where she also assisted with the Sunday school lessons. She always loved to cross-stitch, knit, and crochet. Patsy was a beautiful fashionista and brightened up the room when she walked in. What Patsy loved most was spending time with her loving family.
