Patrick W. Taylor

Patrick W. Taylor, fondly known as Pat, passed away unexpectedly on February 17, 2025, in Springfield, Ohio. He was born on September 2, 1951, in Mobile, Alabama, son of the late Lawrence and Bobbie Taylor.

Pat enjoyed a distinguished career, having retired from Navistar in the early 2000s. Upon retirement, he took great pride in owning Broadview Enterprise, where he primarily engaged in handyman work. His commitment to helping others was further exemplified during his time as a property manager at Hawthorne Place apartments, where he worked for Tom Lagos. Known for his diligence and reliability, Pat was always willing to lend a helping hand.

He is survived by his beloved son and daughter-in-law, Nick and Nicole Taylor, and a cherished group of grandchildren: Dominick, Blake, Pearl, Nick Jr., Nevaeh, River, and Lake Taylor; and great-grandfather to Karter Taylor. 

Pat is also remembered by his siblings, Mike Taylor and Joan Hosch, who shared in the memories of their upbringing and the bonds that held their family together. Additionally, he will be missed by Merrelyn Powers, a special friend who brought joy to his later years.

In his passing, he reunited with his beloved wife, Susan Taylor, who preceded him, as well as his son, Matthew Taylor.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 11am at St. John Lutheran Church, 27 N. Wittenberg Ave. Springfield with visitation being held from 9:30am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Donnelsville Cemetery.
