Pamela Sue Kellis

Pamela Sue Kellis, 66, of Springfield, Ohio was born on November 25, 1955, in Dayton, Ohio at Miami Valley Hospital. Pam was a part of the Special Olympics bowling team at Victory Lanes. She was also a volunteer at Community Hospital for many years. Pam was a member of TAC industries working on various jobs but loved doing janitorial work. She also performed at the Simon Mall in Springfield for America’s Got Talent with the TAC choir. Pam was a devoted fan Chuck Norris, Walker Texas Ranger and the crime drama show In the Heat of the Night. She also was a big fan of the Dayton Flyers and the Dayton Dragons. Pam loved singing her favorite music and traveling to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Pam really enjoyed entertaining with her roommate and best friend, David Cockrell. They loved singing karaoke together. Pam was also a client of Choices In Community Living and attended their Fun Fit Dayhab. She enjoyed their numerous outings, special trips, crafts with her peers, and had a special relationship with Dayhab staff, Diane Hayslip and Raven Brown. Pam leaves behind a host of friends and family. Other family members include Donnie Cockrell, his family, and Christopher Anuszewski, family and staff members, LeAsia Castle, Lori Castle, Lindsey Castle, Kerry Kimbler, and Amanda Robinson and dearest friend Tonda Colvin, her family, Michelle Goodfellow, Margie Little, Kesha Tuttle, and Judy Collier.

Per Pam’s wishes, a graveside service will be held at Calvary Cemetery Springfield, Ohio at 11am on Friday, June 3, 2022. A gathering of friends and family will be held afterwards at the Maplewood Church of the Nazarene on 110 Lawnview Ave in Springfield to celebrate Pam’s life. Special thanks to Pastor Vicki Case and for God who places people in your path to help in your time of need. In lieu of flower, donation can be made to Jackson, Lytle and Lewis Funeral Home towards Pam’s arrangements and headstone.
