Nancy S. Schmalz

Nancy S. Schmalz (Kibler) 71, of Springfield and long time resident of Avon, IN passed away in the arms of her brother Ron and sister-in-law Dana at Springfield Regional Medical Center on Thursday, December 23 at 9:45 AM.

Nancy was preceded in death by her mother Irene and her father Earl and her husband Dan from Avon, Indiana. She is survived by her brother Ron and his wife Dana as well as her nephew Tyler Kibler, his wife Lakin and their sons Wade and Wesley Kibler as well as her niece Abby Kibler.

Nancy was blessed with many friends and neighbors as well as the Schmalz family from her Indiana home. She cherished these relationships and held them close to her throughout her life. Special thanks to the doctors as well as the ICU staff at Springfield Regional Medical Center for the excellent care of her in her final days, you guys are the best.

To know Nancy was to love Nancy, and she would always love you back.
