McNEAL, Millie Ann age 64 of Springfield, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born on December 20, 1958 the daughter of the late Gene "Moose" and Edna Mae (Lightle) McNeal in Springfield. In addition to her parents, Millie Ann was preceded in death by her aunts and uncles: Millie and Wayne Tillman and Ralph and Betty Lightle. She leaves behind her siblings to forever cherish her memory: David (Jane) McNeal, Gary (Julie) McNeal and Douglas (Kay) McNeal; nieces and nephews: Amy McNeal, Lori McNeal, Chadrick (Jess) McNeal, John O'Connor, and Jennifer (Ian) Lochner; several great-nieces and great-nephews and her very best friend since middle school, Judy Blankenship.

Millie Ann was a devoted employee to Dr. Clifford Martin as a dental assistant before taking on a career at the Ohio Masonic Home in Springfield. Millie Ann was a member of the Dayton and Columbus painting societies. She had such a talent and enjoyed painting for relaxation or giving to others as a gift. She was a member of a Bunco Club and a Euchre Club. Millie Ann loved hosting the family Christmas Eve. It was a time she would make the favorite foods for her brothers that everyone could enjoy. Millie always liked a new adventure for traveling and went on several cruises. Attending concerts was a favorite activity she liked especially the outdoor summer arts festival. Millie was such compassionate person and always helped friends during recuperation from surgery or after experiencing a loss of a family member. She had a great attitude and such a funny sense of humor. Millie Ann will be missed not only by her family but by co-workers, and friends. A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center. Her funeral will follow on Friday, May 26, 2023 also at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 a.m. Millie will be laid to rest at Glen Haven Memorial Garden. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society in Millie's honor. Expressions of sympathy are forwarded to the family by visiting www.jacksonlytle.com
