Matthew L. Taylor

Matthew L. Taylor, 37, of Springfield, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 22, 2020. He was born on October 7, 1982, in Springfield, the son of Patrick and Susan (Knasel) Taylor. Matt is survived by his father, Patrick; brother, Nick Taylor; nephews and nieces, Dominick, Blake, Nicholas Jr. and Pearl Taylor; aunts and uncles, Mike (Lois) Taylor, Joan Hosch, Melinda (Roger) Vaughn and Dale Knasel; and numerous friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Susan. Matt graduated with honors from Tecumseh High School and received his bachelors from Wright State University. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 1, 2020 from 12-1p.m. at Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center, with service beginning at 1p.m. Inurnment follow at Kingscreek Cemetery, Urbana, OH.
