Mary June Vaughn

Mary June Vaughn passed away peacefully at Hospice of Dayton, on August 23, 2024. She was born in Wilmington, Ohio on June 28, 1926, to William Elvis Davis and Edith (Ballinger) Davis. Mary June will be remembered as a dedicated homemaker, cookie baker, crafter, volunteer and friend. 

Mary June is survived by her sister, Annabelle Masters; a son, Dennis (Robin) Vaughn; a daughter, Linda Vaughn Baldemor; grandchildren, Christie Vaughn Hall (Brian), Katy Young, Robbie Vaughn (Ann) and Daniel Root (Sheena). She was blessed with ten great-grandchildren, and many devoted friends. 

Carroll R. Vaughn, her husband, along with sisters, Ruth, Virginia, Evelyn and Wahneta, a brother, Ronald, and grandson, David Root, preceded her in death. 

Memorial graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 10:30a.m. at Massie Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Union Methodist Church, 1038 Union Rd. Xenia, Ohio 45385 or Hospice of Dayton.
