BOLIN, Mary age 93 of Springfield, formerly of Urbana, Ohio passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Oakwood Village. She was born on November 15, 1929 in London, Ohio to the late Floyd and Flora (Dugan) Thompson. In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Bolin; daughters: Bonnie Carandante and Patricia Bolin; daughter-in-law, Janet Bolin; siblings: Glen Thompson, Ruth Boysel, Art Thompson, Wava Thompson, Anna Mae Billett, Opal Thompson, Geneva Thompson, Don Thompson, Eugene Thompson and Roger Thompson. She leaves behind her children: Robert (Nancy) Bolin, William Bolin, Rebecca (Karl) Hirtzinger, and Beverly (Keith) Bolin Elliott; grandchildren: Mary Beth, Randy, Michael, David, Sarah, Scott, Steve, Aaron, Ashley, Amanda and Jeremy; 20 great-grandchildren with one on the way; numerous nieces and nephews as well as close family friends Jim and Karen Wilson along with her best friend, Lora Fox. Mary was famously known for her homemade noodles she and her family prepared for many years at the New Boston Fair. She and Robert owned Bolin Plumbing and loved to travel and race horses. A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. at Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center with her funeral beginning at 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation or Breast Friends of Urbana in Mary's honor.
