Mary Jul Larson

Mary Jul Larson, age 93, passed away on June 22, 2022 in Springfield, Ohio. Mary was born on December 25, 1928 in Tagus, North Dakota to the late Lars and Martha (Oynes) Bjelland. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph T. Larson, daughter, Renee Donohoe, and siblings: Berent Bjelland, Laura Weltikol, Olive Olson, Marget Lee, and Louis Bjelland. Mary is survived by her children; Barbara (Rich) Anderson, Roger (Marlene) Larson, and Ken (Sally) Larson, grandchildren; Marco, Adrian, Annette, Steven, Bridget, Matthew, Wendy, and Chris, great-grandchildren; Logan, DeAnna, Courtney, Michael, Britany, Charles, and Brigid, several great-great grandchildren, and sisters, Nettie Lee and Ruth Aas.

In her free-time, Mary loved playing cards. Euchre and Phase 10 were two of her favorites. Mary was fortunate enough to never have to work away from home, she was always taking care of the house and family. She was always there for you and willing to help whenever someone was in need. She volunteered at the church and enjoyed visiting with friends. She was also very talented in crocheting. With Mary, you always knew where you stood.

Mary was a farm girl at heart, having spent her childhood growing up on the family farm. Formal dress is not required, please feel free to wear your jeans and boots.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 p.m., at the Jackson Lytle and Lewis Life Celebration Center, Springfield. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., also at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Gil Santiago.
