Marvin Lee Jordan

Marvin Lee Jordan, age 75, passed away on December 7, 2021 in Springfield, Ohio. Marvin was born on May 11, 1946 to the late Herman and Anna Mae (Archer) Jordan. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Mary Shabbit and brother, James “Jim” Jordan. Marvin is survived by his loving wife, Betty (Gillman) Jordan, sons; Brad (Mary) Jordan and Bryan Lee Jordan, brothers, Bill L. Jordan, Mike (Bernice) Jordan, Steve J. (Diane) Jordan, and David H. Jordan, sisters; Patty McNamara, Janet I. (Daniel) Campbell, Linda L. (Richard) Whaley, and Cindy S. (Jack) Jordan-Burchnell, grandchildren; Jacob Jordan, Sarah Jordan, Mikeual Jordan, and Briana Jordan, great-granddaughter, Addison Elizabeth Jordan, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Marvin enjoyed traveling, especially going out west and visiting Mount Rushmore. He loved his church and his family. He also selflessly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, December 13, 2021 from 11:00-1:00 p.m., at the Jackson Lytle and Lewis Life Celebration Center, Springfield. The service will begin at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor John Hoover. Burial to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
