Marshall C. Vaughn, Jr., 62, of Dayton, passed away at Grandview Hospital surrounded by his family on Monday, September 30, 2019. Marshall was born on August 5, 1957, in Hamilton, Ohio, the son of the late Marshall Sr. and Joan (McCreadie) Vaughn. In Jr. High, Marshall met the love of his life, Cheryl (Terry) and together they have shared over 45 years of marriage. He was a devoted father to two daughters, Tracy (Rick) Colwell and Christina (Chad) Stastny; fun loving papaw to Bret Boll, Brandon Thompson, Camryn Newsom, Daniel Bucklew and Lindsey Stastny; and great-papaw to Greyson Boll. In addition, Marshall is survived by four sisters, Marsha (Harold) Cupp, Sandra Vaughn, Betty Vaughn and Donna Kreitzer; brother-in-law, David Terry; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Marshall served in the United States Air Force and was employed by MIQ Partners for several years. He was an avid motorcyclist and a Harley Davidson enthusiast. Marshall enjoyed watching cooking shows to learn how to make new creations and was always ready to taste test anything. Along side his wife, Marshall loved to travel, especially taking cruises. He loved the open road, the vast ocean and experiencing all life has to offer. Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 1-3p.m. at Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center.
