Mark Dewayne Lansing

Mark DeWayne Lansing, age 62, of Springfield, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2022 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born on December 8, 1959, in Springfield, the son of Jackie and Juanita (Saunders) Lansing. Mark is preceded in death by his father; son, Anthony Huffman; and brother, Kenneth Lansing. He is survived by his mother; longtime companion, Leota Huffman; son, Jack Lansing; daughters, Tanica (Joe) Matson and Tera Lansing; 3 grandsons and 1 granddaughter; brother, Jay (Heidi) Lansing; sister-in-law, Stephanie Lansing; uncles, James Saunders and Kerry Lansing; nieces and nephews, Jackie (Kendra) Lansing, Brittany (Eric) Parsons and Kristie Lansing; 1 great-niece and 3 great-nephews; and numerous other extended family members and friends. Mark was a loving caretaker for his son Anthony and his long-time girlfriend for many years. He was always looking out for others and enjoyed making everyone smile. Viewing will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022 from 10a.m.-12p.m. at Ingling & Lewis Funeral Home, South Charleston with service beginning at 12p.m. Pastor Charlie Wertz will be officiating.
