Marilyn Linson-Casey

Marilyn (Linson) Casey, 82, of Springfield, joined her Heavenly Father on Sunday Evening, January 9, 2022. She was born in Malden, Massachusetts on October 8, 1939, the daughter of Elmer and Margie (Sederquist) Spraker. Marilyn married Gene Linson in June of 2012 and attended Hillside Avenue and Northside Church of God where she enjoyed singing and participating in various performances. She worked as a nurse’s assistant and enjoyed gospel music and cruises. Her greatest joy was in spending time with her pets, holidays with her extended family, and time with her husband.

A celebration of Marilyn’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 19th at the Hillside Church of God, 2021 Hillside Avenue, with Reverend Gordon Garrett officiating. The family will receive visitors beginning at 12:30 p.m at the church
