Maddox William Locke

Maddox William Locke, age 2, of South Charleston, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on March 1, 2021 after complications from treatment of neuroblastoma at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. He was born on April 30, 2018, in Springfield, Ohio, the beloved son of Matthew William and Stacey Lynn (Tedrick) Locke. In addition to his parents, Maddox leaves behind his big sister, Sadie Jean; little sister, Maisey Rae; grandparents, Laura Cheney Waymire, Ruthanne and Roger Tedrick and Steve and Patty Locke; aunts and uncles, Stephanie and Jason Cooley, David and Katie Locke and Beth and Brian Adkins; and cousins, Cali, Kaylin, Davis, Cece, Charlie, Rylee and Justin. He was greeted in Heaven by his great-grandparents, Virginia Barnes, Raymond Barnes, Robert Tedrick, Charles William Locke, Marian Jean Locke, Jonathan William Cheney, Dorothy A. Cromwell Cheney.
Maddox was a strong and courageous little man whose smile could brighten any room. He had a love for anything Mickey Mouse but above all, he loved his mommy, daddy and sisters. He fought hard until the very end, and will be remembered for his golden, curly locks and sweet heart. May he be remembered by his signature look - shades and toboggan on his head, and Spider man shoes on his feet. He touched the lives of people from all over the world and his memory will live on through us all. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 from 11a.m. -1p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, South Charleston with service beginning at 1p.m. Pastor Aaron White will be officiating.
