Judith May Day, age 84, of Enon, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by those she loved. She was born on October 3, 1938, in Springfield, the daughter of the late Fenzell and Helen (Green) Finney. Judy was reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband whom she married in 1955, Charles Day; her daughter, Barbara Jean Cox; her sister, Marcia L. Finney; and her son-in-law, Larry Sagraves. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughter, Connie Sagraves (Duane) Davis; grandchildren, Hope, Craig, Clinton, Angie, Amie (Dan) and Adrian (Sarah); great-grandchildren, Halee, Brian, Brendan, Madison, Morgan, Jacob, Taylor, Brandalynn (her father, Kyle), Audrina, Wyatt, and Laila; brother, Arthur Finney; sister, Sherrie (David) Lipscomb; son-in-law, Jack Cox; close friend, Janice Hill; and several nieces and nephews. Judy was a life-long member of the First Church of the Nazarene where she deeply loved her church family. She was a past President on the Missionary board and was passionate about doing missions work worldwide. She worked until she was 81, with 43 of those years at Big Bear and over 15 years at Kroger on Bechtle Ave. She was an avid sports enthusiast who enjoyed cheering on the Reds and the Bengals, watching golf to which she took lessons on how to play in her late 70’s and going to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s sporting events. She and her husband went to every Reds spring training camp in Florida for many years. Judy was a hard worker, had a deep love for her family and grandkids and most of all, was always faithful to her Lord and Savior. Viewing will be held on Friday, July 21, 2022 from 10am-12pm at First Church of the Nazarene with service beginning at 12p.m. Burial will follow at Enon Cemetery where she will be laid to rest between her husband and daughter.
