Juanita Joyce Gambill

Juanita Joyce Gambill age 88 of Springfield, Ohio passed away January 15, 2021

Juanita was born to the late John W. Gambill and Hester (Elam) Gambill on October 8,1932 in Silver Hill (Morgan County), Kentucky

She was preceded in death by daughters Diana Crites and Dixie Bumgardner, grandson Codie Bageant, sister Lois McGuire and brother Bill Gambill and beloved cat Pepe.

Juanita is survived by daughters: Denise Farris and son in law Wayne of Canyon Lake, Texas. Debbie Clark of Springfield, Ohio.
Grandchildren: Randie Bageant Demaree of So. Charleston, Ohio. Ashley Powell of Tampa, Florida. Logan Farris of Osaka, Japan. Dr. Lindsey Farris DVM of Monument, Colorado. Brooke Bumgardner of Lawrence, Kansas
and Hunter Clark of Springfield, Ohio.
Great-Grandchildren: Rylie Demaree, Caiden Bageant, Bradie Demaree, Jerrica Clark and Koty Clark. A very special brother in law Gary McGuire, nieces, nephews and numerous cousins.

Juanita moved from the hills of Kentucky when she was a little girl, she attended the Southeastern schools district. She has lived in Indiana, Oklahoma and Texas where she was co-owner of Pompy's Shoes in San Marcos, Texas. After returning to Ohio she was the manager of Governors Manor for 15 years before retiring at 72 yrs of age She lived her "dash" to the fullest, she loved to travel, spending precious time with family, going to Dale Hollow to spend relaxing time with family on the houseboat, attending family reunions, cookouts, going to garage sales, reading, crossword puzzles, listening to hillbilly and gospel music and attending music jamborees.

"A mother holds her children's hand for a little while but their hearts forever".... Until we hold one another again Godspeed Mom, Grandma we love you, forever and a day~

Pallbearers: Hunter Clark, Darrell Gambill, Phil Gambill, Mike Bumgardner, Mike Gambill and Stephen Gambill.

Funeral service will be held at Ingling Williams and & Lewis 24 North Chillicothe St., So. Charleston Ohio. On Tuesday, January 19, 2021. Visitation 12- 2, service at 2PM with Pastor Aaron Turner officiating. Burial to follow at South Solon, Ohio Cemetery
