Joshua "Josh" Wayde Thompson

Joshua "Josh" Wayde Thompson, age 45, passed away on November 29, 2021 in Kettering, Ohio. Josh was born on July 5, 1976 in Dayton, Ohio to parents, Randy (Patti) Thompson and Rhonda Jones. Along with his parents, Josh is survived by his son, Brandon Wayde (Taylor) Thompson, daughter, Bret Nicolle Boll, sister, Jamie Lea Haston, nephew, Gunner, nieces Alona, Ariah, Athena and Ava, grandmother, Patricia Jones, aunt, Sherry and a host of extended family and many close friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Glen R. Jones, grandfather, Bobby G. Thompson and grandmother, Norma I. Hamilton. Josh enjoyed spending time at his camper, hunting, guns, his airplanes, and Harley-Davidson.


Family and friends will be received on Monday, December 6, 2021 from 11:00-1:00p.m. at the Jackson Lytle and Lewis Life Celebration Center, Springfield. The service will begin at 1:00p.m. Burial to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to offset funeral expenses.
