John Angus Brubaker, age 69, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2024, in Dayton, Ohio. He was born on July 12, 1955, in Denver, Colorado, to the late Angus and Janice (Tipton) Brubaker.
John spent the majority of his life as an ironworker proudly serving the Local 290 in Dayton for over 50 years. Beyond his professional achievements, John was a man of many passions. He relished his time on the golf course and had an unyielding love for bowling. His retirement in Florida was filled with joy and relaxation, a well-deserved respite after years of hard work.
He leaves behind his son, John "Luke" (Heather) Brubaker, his daughter, Lani Atkins, and his precious grandchildren, Wesley, Chloe, Caden, and Colin. Each one of them held a special place in his heart, and he took immense pride in their achievements and happiness. John is also remembered fondly by his nieces, Wendy and Misty.
He is preceded in death by his beloved parents; his infant daughter, Tiffany; and his brother, Mark Brubaker.
Visitation will be held at Ingling and Lewis Funeral Home in South Charleston, Ohio, on September 7, 2024, from 10:00am to 12:00pm, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00pm.
