Springfield

Joetta Maloney, 69 of Springfield passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025.

Joetta was born March 31, 1955 in Springfield, OH, the first of a set of twins. Joetta was preceded in death by her parents, Charles (Bill) Leist and Patricia (Patty) Leist, and older brother, Mark Leist.

Joetta was the loving, caring, and devoted mother of Kadie Maloney and Kalie Gray whom she was so proud of. The lights of her life were her grandchildren, Charles (CJ) Maloney, Kiarra (Kiki) Maloney, Alexis (Lexie) Hicks, and Alexander (Alex) Hicks, but the ones that stole her heart were her great grandchildren, Cayden Maloney, Colton Maloney, and Raelynn Maloney. She was so deeply loved by her twin sister, Janine, brother, Paul, and brother-in-law, Pat Partee, and many nieces and nephews.

After graduating beauty school, she worked around Springfield as a beautician. Later in life, she went to work doing alterations and loved sewing at home. Joetta will be greatly missed by her family, many friends, and special friend, Ann Murphy, and her church family.

Rest in peace, sweet soul.
