Jerry E. Blevins

BLEVINS, Jerry E., age 74 of Springfield passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. He was born on July 29, 1947 in Weeksbury, Kentucky the son of Eugene and Cloa (Belcher) Blevins. In addition to his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by his sister, Mary Alice Staton. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 54 years, Patty Blevins; children: John (Deanna) Blevins, Susan Ballard, and Matthew (Leslie) Blevins; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and his sister, Marvella Lavender. Jerry retired from Clark County Engineer's road crew after 21 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed watching drag racing and going fishing. More than anything, Jerry loved his family and being with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center. His funeral will begin at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Kevin Moehn officiating.
