Jennifer Lynn Stringfellow

Jennifer Lynn Stringfellow, age 44, passed away on October 27, 2021. Jennifer was born on June 10, 1977 in Clare, Michigan. Jennifer is survived by her parents, Dennis Stringfellow and Karen (James) Simms, two children, Damon and Mia Walters, sisters; Alicia Remmetter (Scott), Chelsea Mader (Brian), Sydney Russell (Bradley), best-friend and sister, Megan Simpson (Dennis), nephews; Riley Remmetter (Abby), Colton Russell, Mason Russell, and Lincoln Moore, nieces; Marissa Remmetter, Emma Russell, and Bella Moore, great-nephew, Nate, great-nieces, Rosalie and Ri’Lynn, special friends; Summer Routt, Angela Nicole, Connie Henderson, Michelle Harvey, and many more.

Jennifer’s battle with cancer did not define her, she fought for her family and friends everyday to spend more time going to all the sporting events and taking all those pictures she shared. Within this past year she has gotten to pursue her dreams of getting into Nursing school to help others. We all knew Jennifer by Jenny, but did you know that all the kids knew her as “Fat-Fat”, one nickname that she called Colton when he was younger got to be her nickname from the time he could repeat it. Since then she had loved when any of the kids would yell for their “Fat-Fat”.

When Jennifer walked into a room, you could count on her for her sass, sarcasm. When it was your birthday, you got that 12:00am birthday call with so much love! The most important thing to Jennifer was her family and friends, enjoying each moment with all.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 5:00-6:00 p.m. at the Jackson Lytle and Lewis Life Celebration Center, Springfield. A celebration will begin at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
