Jeffrey K. Gevedon

Jeffrey K. Gevedon, age 59, of Fairborn, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on July 7, 2022. He was born on July 24, 1962, in Springfield, the son of the late Paul C. and Lucille Gevedon. Jeff is survived by his beloved wife of 11 years, Kathy (Hawke) Gevedon; sisters and brother-in-law, Kathy Hamerick and Linda (Tony) Hyland; aunt, Gay Eldridge; cousin, Steve Eldridge; mother-in-law, Norma Hawke; and several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Vandette. Jeff was a member of First Christian Church and was currently employeed by Seepex Inc. as a shipping clerk. He was well respected by his fellow employees and will be deeply missed by all. Jeff had a special love for animals, especially his cats, many of which were rescues. He was a kind and gentle hearted man with a great sense of humor. You never knew if the silly stories he liked to tell were true or not but he always knew how to make everyone laugh. He adored his family and never let a minute go by that he wasn't providing for them or serving them in some manner. His mischievous grin and larger than life personality will be missed on earth but his family knows he is living his best life and creating smiles now in the presence of the Lord. Viewing will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 10-11a.m. at Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center with service beginning at 11a.m. Burial will follow at Enon Cemetery.
