Jeanette Ann Stratton

Jeanette Ann Stratton, age 89 of Springfield, Ohio passed away on February 25, 2023. She was born on November 14, 1933 in Springfield, Ohio to the late Howard and Ethel (Baker) Rust. Jeanette is survived by her son, Richard (Sarah) Adkins, step-children: Sharon (James) Ayers and Mike (JoAnn) Stratton, grandchildren; Christina Adkins, Michael (Bridget) Adkins, and Suzy Adkins, great-grandchildren; Paige (Timmy) Elliot, Tye Parker, Evan Parker, and Carter Adkins, great-great-grandchild, Archie Elliot, brother, Ira (Dorothy) Rust, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Stratton, and brother, Asa Rust. Jeanette graduated from Northwestern High School. She was a homemaker by trade but enjoyed sewing and crocheting. Jeanette also enjoyed traveling. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Jeanette will be laid to rest at the Dayton National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pike Township EMS & Fire Department in Jeanette's honor.
