James Compton

COMPTON, James Renee Shannon Jr., age 9 passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at his home. He was born on April 15, 2011 in Springfield, Ohio the son of James Renee Shannon Compton Sr. and Julia (Christopher Schaffer) McClain. In addition to his parents, James is survived by his siblings: Kameron Compton, Jaelynn Compton, Alizander Cobb, Julian Cobb, Therisa Cobb, Sinzere Cobb, Tristan McClain and Ava King; maternal great-grandparents, Charles and Dorothy Collins; maternal grandmother, Deborah Collins McClain; maternal grandfather, Donald McClain; and paternal grandfather James Compton. James is also survived by uncles: Ronald Compton, Jimmy Compton, and Josh Pelfrey “uncle bubby” aunt Jennifer “nin nin” (Jerry) Sheridan as well as numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Carolyn Watkins and aunt Nikki Watkins. James loved playing xbox and helping Chris work on cars.
