Jack M. Wise

Jack M. Wise, 85, of South Charleston, Ohio died Monday, December 26, 2022. Jack was born June 25, 1937 in Springfield, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Helen Wise, and his brother, Robert Wise. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Elizabeth A. Mercer-Wise, step-children, Vicky (David) Hines, Cindy Mercer, Jon (Kathy) Mercer, five step-grandchildren, and six step-great grandchildren.

He was employed at Teledyne, Kay’s Jeweler’s, and as a driver for Bill Marine. He was a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association and the Christian Motorcyclists’ Association traveling extensively throughout the U.S. In retirement, he enjoyed sitting on his porch and visiting with his neighbor, Jim Park.

He attended the Grape Grove Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Grape Grove Church of Christ, 6626 Grape Grove Rd, Jamestown, OH. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 8, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the church. Arrangements entrusted to the Ingling Williams and Lewis Funeral Home, South Charleston.
