Howard Count Davis

DAVIS, Howard age 78, of Mechanicsburg Ohio passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born on November 28, 1943 in London, Ohio to the late Howard E. Davis and Joanne (Dorn) Davis. In addition to his parents, Howard is preceded in death by his loving wife of 51 years, Portia (Beaver) Davis. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his two daughters: Melissa (Brent Persinger) Layne and Dawn (Dean) Ferguson, grandchildren: Terry (Theresa) Miller, Anthony (Robyn) Miller, Crystal (Gilbert) Dela Cruz, Cody (Cierra Dooley) Frey, Jolynn Stoops, Shelby (Hunter Allen) Stoops, Tabitha (Cody Roseberry) Belford and Sierra Belford; great grandchildren: Mikaila, Alex, Emmett and Maddison Miller, Elijah and Lucas Dela Cruz, Lile and Isabel Miller, as well as his brother Robert "Bud" Davis and sister Carol Scales. Howard Served our country in the United States Army and retired from Navistar after many dedicated years. He also served on the Catawba and Harmony Fire Departments.
