Gregory Wayne Bodey, 58, of Enon, passed away unexpectedly on October 21, 2024.
Born on December 26, 1965, in Vicenza, Italy, while his father was serving in the military, Greg returned to Ohio in his early youth. Greg attended Springfield South High School, where he was a star athlete on the football team. It was during these formative years that he met his future wife, Wende, whom he married in 1986. Together, they raised two children, Michelle and Doug, and shared a love for attending their children's extracurricular activities, traveling as a family, and cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Greg’s strong work ethic, sense of humor, and ability to connect with people propelled him into a successful career in sales. He quickly earned the respect of his peers and held various management roles, most recently serving as an Area Sales Manager for Coca-Cola Consolidated, Inc.
A passionate sports fan, Greg’s enthusiasm for the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Bengals, and Cincinnati Reds was evident to all who knew him. He enjoyed golfing, traveling to visit friends and family, and spending cherished moments on the water.
Greg is preceded in death by his wife, Wende, and his mother, Dixie. He is survived by his daughter Michelle Bodey (Michael Hewitt), son Doug (Christine) Bodey, granddaughter Nora Rieman, father Larry Bodey, sister Deb (Jeff) Hogue, sisters-in-law Joni (Lynn) Coressel and Kristy (Roger) Holmes as well as many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
