WEIGEL, Ginger E. age 59 of Columbus, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on May 21, 2024 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was the only daughter of Paul and Norma Jean (Morris) Green born on October 24, 1964 in Springfield, Ohio. In addition to her parents, Ginger was preceded in death by her brother, Philip Green. She leaves behind her loving husband of nearly 25 years, Kim Weigel, who could always make Ginger laugh; her brother, Bruce (Suzanne) Green of Lexington, KY; nephew, Tom Lipscomb of St. Croix, USVI; nieces: Ashley Lipscomb of Missoula, MT and Kiley (Meggie) Davidson of Los Angeles, CA; her aunts, Dorothy Green of Florida and Gloria Maston of North Carolina as well as numerous cousins. Ginger was an accountant at Air Force One in Dublin, where she will be deeply missed by her coworkers. She had an unforgettable personality and never let challenges slow her down. She was a proud survivor of ovarian, breast and brain cancers. You could always count on her to enjoy a nice drive in her convertible with the top down, traveling with her husband and cooking or baking up something delicious in the kitchen. Ginger was one of a kind and will be greatly missed by those who were able to know her. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center.
