Eula Mae Wise

Wise, Eula Mae, 87, went to be with Jesus on February 7, 2022 peacefully at her son, Ray’s home surrounded by her family and under the care of Hospice of Dayton. She was born on March 4, 1934 in Wurtland, Kentucky to Lonnie and Rosa Burks. She graduated as salutatorian of her class at Wurtland High School and then eloped and married the love of her life. Eula was a fierce Pentecostal woman who loved crocheting, quilt making, and her snowmen. She will always be remembered for her strong faith and her immense love for her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her four brothers, her husband of 51 years at the time of his death, Raymond in 2016, and son Donald (Donna) Wise. She is survived by sons, Ray (Shirley) Wise, Michael Wise, and Brian Wise; Grandchildren, Heather (Justin) Stevens, Rachel Woods, Gerrard Wise, Samantha Ruggles (Johnathon), Donald Eugene (DJ) Wise, Corey (Bethany) Wise, Michael (Logan) Wise, Shayne Wise, and Tameka Wise: Great-grandchildren Tyler, Carter, Jordyn, Parker, Kori, Alex, Austin (Charlotta), Ethan, Trevor, Haleigh, Chloe, Bailey, Annabelle, and Hunter; Great-great grandchildren Brandon and Joanna.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, February 11, 2022 from 1:00-2:00 p.m., at the Greater Life Apostolic Church, 200 Snyder St, Springfield, Ohio 45504. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Paul Dowdy. Eula will be laid to rest next to her loving husband, Ray, at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens at the convenience of the family at a later date.
