Eric W. "Rick" Glasser

GLASSER, Eric W. "Rick" age 75 of Springfield passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday, July 13, 2021.  He was born on April 22, 1946, the son of Don and Mildred (Menning) Glasser in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  Rick leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 25 years, Sylvia (Hamilton) Glasser; children: Tad (Karen) Glasser, Tracy Glasser, Amie (Jay) Gulbranson, Davy (Megan) Jones; sisters: Norma (Dick) Schwab and Joyce (Roger) Johnson; grandchildren: Ashley, Gage, Davy, Destiny, Buffy, Hailey, Sierra, Madison and Brandi Hawley and family as well as great-grandchildren: Yvonne and Tyson.  Rick is also survived by so many friends and extended family members.  He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved cars.  He retired from Springfield Area Transit, following retirement he committed himself to working a few hours a week at Elderly United.  More than anything, Rick enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and his spunky Chihuahua, Skyla.  A visitation will be held at Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with his service beginning at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial contributions to be made to the family to offset funeral expenses.  Condolences may be expressed to the family by visiting www.jacksonlytle.com
