Emma Jean Coon

COON, Emma Jean (Brown) 90 of Springfield, passed away Friday, February 28, 2020.  She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on July 29, 1929 to the late Orlin R. and Mina (Shuler) Brown.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, William "Bill", brothers, Wayne, Harvey, Michael Brown and sister, Anna Jane (Brown) Davison.  She is survived by her youngest sister, Patty (Charles) Lackey; son, Neal (Cindy) Coon; daughter, Lisa (John) Loukoumidis, grandsons: Darren (Danielle) Wagner and William Ryan (Sara Rodriguez) Wagner; granddaughter, Heather (Phillip) Lehner and great-grandchildren, Neveah Coon and Lelan Lehner.  Special thanks for those at Forest Glen Health Campus and Kindred Hospice Dayton who helped care for her.  Her family will forever cherish her love and memories of her.  A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Ferncliff Cemetery beginning at 2:00 p.m.  Condolences may be expressed to the family by visiting www.jacksonlytle.com
