Edith Maria Lisch

LISCH, Edith M., age 78 of Springfield passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born on March 24, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio; the daughter of Stanley Nelson and Kathryn Carrie (Ballenger) Fitzwater. In addition to her parents, Edith is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, William "Mike" Lisch Jr.; two brothers; 3 sisters and grandchildren: Travis Shane Wilson, Jill Ann Wilson and Jeremy Merriman. She leaves behind her six children: Thomas Michael (Peggy) Lisch, Jeffrey Brian (Linda) Lisch, Gregory Scott (Debbie) Lisch, Victoria Elizabeth Mills, Jacqueline Lynn Merriman, and Nickalena Michelle Lisch; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild as well as her brother-in-law and 5 sisters-in-law. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center from 12:00-1:00 p.m. with her funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Rose Hill Burial Park.
