Donna Waneta Worley

Donna Worley, loving wife of 55 years to James S. Worley and mother to J. Steven (Carol) Worley and Michael (Christie) Worley, passed away on Tuesday May 31, 2022 at the age of 83. Donna was raised in Ohio and Illinois before making her permanent residence in Springfield, Ohio when she married the love of her life, James "Jim" Worley. Donna was an avid reader and loved to write poetry. She could often be found curled up with a book, sipping a cup of tea, or taking walks with her faithful dog by her side. Donna was known for her quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. She loved bowling, spending time with her husband and friends, and visiting with her mother and four loving sisters. Donna was a member of Northside Baptist Church and taught Sunday school there. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her brother. Donna is survived by her sons, daughters-in-law, seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and her sisters. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday June 10th from 6-7 PM at Jackson Lytle and Lewis Funeral Home in Springfield, Ohio.
