Donald L. Gustafson

GUSTAFSON, Donald age 83 of Springfield, Ohio passed away peacefully on Friday, December 13, 2024 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born on August 21, 1941 to the late Russell and Mildred (Glastonbury) Gustafson in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania. When Don was five years old, his father, Russell passed away and Mildred later married Charles "Chuck" Ray who also preceded Don in death. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his brother, Ken Gustafson. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 24 years, Linda Gustafson; daughter, Darla (Nicholas) Johnson; step-children: Jill (Dan) Cordle, Scot (Tracie) Johnson and Ryan (Motyka) Johnson as well as his loving grandchildren: Lydia (Noor), Gabe (Makenna), Alan, James, Tyler, Hannah (Austin), Emily, Elle, and Benjamin. Don served his country in the United States Army and also obtained his private pilot's license. He graduated from Kent State University with his Bachelor's Degree and retired after 30 years from International Harvester. Don's family misses him terribly but are at peace knowing he accepted Christ as his Savior and will one day be reunited with him in Heaven. A private family memorial will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Cornerstone Baptist Temple in Dayton, Ohio.
