Delores Jean (Burks) Wallace, 88, of Springfield, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 8, 2020 in Springfield Masonic Community. Delores was born in Dayton, Ohio on April 23, 1931 to Edward Burks and Christine (Dunham) Burks. Delores was retired from SPECO Corp. and also sold real estate for Century 21 Realtors for several years. Delores enjoyed spending her summers boating and sun bathing and winter months at Victoria Palms Resort and RV Park in Donna, Texas. Those left to cherish her memory are three sons, Larry (Kathy) Wallace of Springfield, Ohio, Gary (Patricia) Wallace of Cambridge, Ohio and Brad (Sharon) Wallace of Urbana, Ohio; 13 grandchildren, Roxanne (Steven) McDaniel of Fairborn, Ohio, Michael Jay Wallace, Benjamin (Brittany) Jones, Seth (Hannah) Jones, Emily (Kyle) Hilt, William (Chloe) Wallace and Abigail Wallace all of Springfield, Ohio, Evan (Jennifer) Jones of Columbus, Ohio, Angie (Shawn) Stooksberry of Noblesville, Indiana, Nicholas (Lesley) Wallace and Tienna Wallace of Cambridge, Ohio, Lori Wallace of Urbana, Ohio and John (Rosanna) Wallace of Leland, North Carolina; 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews, and her brother-in-law Don Brennan of Springfield, Ohio. Delores was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Christine Burks; her husband Farris Darrell Wallace (2002), her son Randy Wallace (2014), her granddaughter Tonya Wallace (2016) and her sister Joan Brennan (2012). Family and friends are invited to gather together for a memorial service at in the chapel at Rose Hill Cemetery, 4781 South Charleston Pike, Springfield, Ohio 45502 on Monday, February 17, 2020 at 12p.m. Condolences may be expressed to her family by visiting www.jacksonlytle.com.
