Deborah McGinnis

McGINNIS, Deborah Kaye, age 69 of Urbana, Ohio passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at her home. She was born on June 27, 1955 to the late Charles and Frances (Jones) Hall in Springfield, Ohio. In addition to her parents, Deb was preceded in death by her former spouse and father of her children, Carl McGinnis. She leaves behind her two children, Garrett McGinnis and Karla (Mark DeGrands) McGinnis; sister, Lynn "Shelly" Rose; grandchildren: Melinda Sue, Spencer, Garrett Jr., Lauren Joy, D.J., Trenton and Ruevello; niece, Megan Hall; nephew, Brandon Hall as well as many great-nieces, nephews and extended family. Deb was a retired Clark County Sheriff Deputy and also worked dispatch. She attended Life-Net church, loved going to garage sales, watching movies and cherished her time with her family. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with her memorial service beginning at 7:00 p.m. Condolences may be expressed to the family by visiting www.jacksonlytle.com
